Volunteer

Donate

NSA has an ongoing Donation Station in the Nursing department lunchroom. Bring items such as canned soups, granola bars and bottles of water to benefit the City College Emergency Food Pantry. You can also donate to our recycling project to help raise  money for our projects!


Support Our Fundraising

NSA hosts events with partners all over the city who donate a portion of proceeds right back to the organization.  See our calendar for the latest fundraising events.

NSA has committees dedicated to different facets of the organization.  You're sure to find one that piques your interest. Read all about the different committees here



Join NSNA and CNSA

For the full benefits of membership in a professional organization, membership in the National Student Nurses Association and the California Nursing Students' Association is a must. See the Benefits page for more details. Make sure you email our Membership Director at sdcc.nsa.membership@gmail.com with your member number, expiration date, and cohort year so we can keep track of your accomplishments. 


Attend a Fellowship EventYou can't get through nursing school without a good support system.  That's why we host several fellowship events each year. These are just a nice way to wind down and spends some time with classmates.  Check our calendar for the latest events.


Attend a Faculty Meeting

Faculty meetings are held biweekly on Mondays from 2pm-4:30pm. Limited seats are available for students, so please contact sdcc.nsa@gmail.com to reserve your spot. Check our calendar for dates. 


Become a Mentor, Mentee, or a tutor.

Contact our Breakthrough to Nursing director to get involved with the mentorship program or become a tutor.
